Vertical Scroll Sidebar Element

I wonder if you can tell me how this is possible please.

I would like to have either a single column/single row slider or grid which scrolls vertically in my sidebar. Basically what you will see is a series of possibly 6 images which will scroll infinitely…but vertically rather than horizontally. I read one thread on your forum which ruled out this option in Essential Grid, but what of Revolution Slider? I cannot find any vertical scroll options for a single slider

Any thoughts on how it is possible to achieve this?

Thanks for writing in! If you are thinking of the Revolution Slider, you can have the Slide Animation to slide from the bottom or to just slide vertically. You can find it in the Slide Options > Slide Animations.

Thanks so much. Didn’t have a transition selected, so the slide vertical option was not there. Thanks for the heads up.

So just a general question on this; I am wanting to put this slider in the sidebar and have it take up 100% of the width. Is it be best to use images which are roughly that width, or what is the best way to get the size right for a sidebar?

Hey @guybower1,

It is best that you use the images as a slide background. Having it a background image for the slides, it will be more responsive.

Thanks for your reply. I also did some searching and found one of your extensions Layer Slider. I wish I had found this ages ago. It is vastly more user friendly than Slider Revolution. Love it; it will become my knew best slider friend…ha!
