VC Background colors not showing

Hello,

There has been afew weeks since all my background settings in VC rows and columns are not showing anymore… I’m not sure if it’s only not showing the background colors or if all the rows and columns design options are not showing… could you help me with that?

There are a couple of print screens to better explain what I’m going through…

It was suposed to be blue background on slider and banners sections… and the section before with 5 info banners/images it was suposed to be a light gray a little bit darker than the main background… like the bgcolor of the images…

The site address is https://www.controlprint.com.br/cpadesivos/

I’m using Integrity stack… and I tried to disable all the non required plugins to check if it was some kind of plugin conflict, but it countinued the same…

Would you help me fixing that?

Thanks,
Priscila

Hi Priscila,

Please go to WPBakery Page Builder Settings > General and make sure “Legacy X Integration” is enabled. A common request we get is to not overwrite parts of the WPBakery Page Builder. We are committed to keep supporting sites from the early days of X where Visual Composer was our page builder but we’ve consolidated all that integration code under one setting. It used to be enabled by default, but you will now need to opt-in to use it.

Let us know how it goes.

I’ve already tried… it changes somethings but the backgrounds are still not there…

Hello Priscila,

Thanks for updating the thread.

I checked the website and the link you have shared. I can see the legacy X integration is active. I then tried to edit the page and tried to change the background color and on my end changes are getting reflected on front end. However, I had to clear clear cache of WP Super Cache. Further checking I see that the background color is not set as mentioned in the ticket. I suggest you to please clear cache and try changing the background color again and then see how it goes.

Thanks.

Weird… I have just installed the wp super cache…when I posted this topic it wasn’t even installed… I was setting it up as you were answering this topic… But anyways, I tried deleting the cache as you suggested but it still shows me the background settings as the print… and even if I try an annonymous tab, or another browser the settings are still there but not reflecting on the page…

Well if I don’t get it to work, I will force it in custom css from x… it should work right?

Thanks

Hi Priscila,

I am confused with the page. When I checked it, the page is made out of Cornerstone. Clearly Cornerstone was used to edit this page. How come you edited it in VC?

What did you use to edit? Maybe you have used the Backend Editor of the WP Bakery Page Builder but forgot to update the changes.

Can you please clarify? Thanks.

Yeah… I reworked on the home page to make it with cornerstone… because I didn’t have time to waste trying to solve that problem… but the old one is still there… i will rename it “VC Home” if you wanna try and figure out what was happening…
Thanks…

Hi @priscilaps,

I couldn’t find the old one, please provide a direct link. The X integration was also off so I went ahead and toggle it on in Admin > WPBakery Page Builder > General Settings > Legacy X Integration . That might fix the issue, but I can’t confirm it as I’m not sure which page has the issue.

Thanks!
