Validation error - Loading error

Hi,

Is it possible to validate X theme inside my Apex account?

I recently moved my domain from teachtutti.com to teachtutti.co.uk. Due to this, X theme is saying the site isn’t validated and Cornerstone needs updating to fix js errors that have cropped up since the latest Wordpress update.

The problem is my site is loading very slowly. Due to this domain transfer (and numerous site backups), I’ve gone well over my monthly disk space. When I try to validate the X theme in the Wordpress dashboard, I think the loading speed is causing the validation to fail. The page changes to /wp-admin/admin.php? after giving my validation code and nothing happens.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Liam

Hi @LiamHindson,

Thanks for reaching out.

You can only validate it within your site, you can only assign your site to your Apex account licenses.

But you can remove the site in your Apex license page, it’s the same as revoking it. Then just assign your new URL and validate it within your new site.

I’d like to check what’s going on with the validation, would you mind providing your admin login credentials in a secure note? And please provide which license in the secure note.

Thanks!

Hey,

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve just sent the login details to my site as a secure note. You should be able to see it.

Hello Liam,

I have logged in and deactivated your Cornerstone plugin. The current installed one is messing up with the older version of X theme. So I went ahead and deleted Cornerstone. I then went to X > Validation and validated your site which is also successfull. You can now proceed to update X and Cornerstone to the latest version which is X 6.2.5 and Cornerstone 3.2.5.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hey,

I’ve just updated everything and the site is back up and running properly! Thanks very much for your help, very glad I reached out to you guys.

Thanks,

Liam

You’re most welcome!
