Hi
I had to upgrade PHP version and to do that I had to clone my VPS and re-point my DNS to new (cloned) server IP.
Everything works, DNS, Wordpress , everything at my site. But, suddenly X theme is not validated? Why not? Is it IP-based validation? Its the same site, same domain, same content etc.
How do I re-validate X on new VPS/IP/Server after the move?

Solved it 
I had to wait for DNS to update approx 12h, then the unlock and re-validate worked

Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes that’s correct, it can take up to 24-48 hours for DNS to update to propagate around the Internet. However, in practice this is usually a lot less. We’re glad you managed to solve it on your own.
