In V5 you used to be able to set a new section to automatically be a grid layout and in V6 this seems to be missing. I checked an older site and it was under the Preference menu but the option is not able in V6. Was this intentional to remove it as I would like to be able to set my sections as grids and not rows then columns then grids. Can anyone help, if this was intentionally removed where in the toolkit would I change it to give me the behaviour I require ?
It looks like that was removed for this release, but we can bring back that preference.
If you want to add a Grid inside a section you can command/ctrl click the plus button of your section to bring up the element list which will allow you to select Grid.
