V2 Elements Style Templates

Hi Support Team,
I’m using mostly the Classic Elements in Pro when creating Layouts cause I can set global styles with CSS and the Theme Options.

Now I want to use the V2 elements more but I have a question about the workflow.

I styled several V2 Elements (Rows, Texts, Buttons etc.) and saved the individual presets. I created several Templates with the same Elements. But If I make style changes and overwrite the settings (on one Element preset) it doesn’t update all the other Elements that used the same preset.

So I want to ask if that is a normal behaviour. Do I have to change every single Element and apply the preset again or is there a method to update the templates?

Hey Stefan,

Yes, that is normal behavior since the Preset does not link to the elements. It’s function is to set the element’s setting only.

Regretfully, yes. You would need to apply the new preset to every element. There’s currently no linked preset.

For this case, I would recommend that you use Classes and custom CSS.
