Using the pullquote shortcode in a post

Hi there! I’m looking to use the [pullquote] shortcode in my blog posts, but I’d really love for it to pull double duty and still show the text in the original article while also creating a pullquote. It’d be great if this could happen without having to put the text in twice.

The reason it’s somewhat important is that I’m revamping an old site that used a now defunct shortcode that did this, and I’d love to make it happen here too without messing with thousands of articles.

Thank you for writing in, but sorry I’m not entirely certain about the issue, can you clarify what do you mean “pull double duty and still show the text in the original article while also creating a pullquote”?

And can you clarify what shortcode has been defunct? The old [pullquote] shortcode should still work with the (X or PRO) Theme.
