Using the footer widget area

Hello,
I want to add a bit of information to the footer above the footer menu.
I noticed there is a footer widget area, but I can’t figure out how to add the widgets. (I’m using the latest version of x).
Can you show me how do I edit this area?

Hi there,

First, you con configure how many footer widget areas you want to be place in the footer in X > Theme Options > Footer > Footer Widget Areas.

You can then go to Appearance > Widgets to see the footer widget locations and you can add some widgets in those widget areas.
