Using the cart element without dropdown/modal/off-canvas

Hello there,

We would like to have a shopping cart item in our header but just have it simply link to the cart page.

We want to keep using the cart count that we have enabled through a dynamic content in the primary text field.

My concern is that using any of the cart items available in the header builder currently, we’ll have extra elements added in the DOM we don’t want to use (no modal, no off-canvas, no drop-down).

Since there’s no “Icon” element I’m not too sure how to proceed.

Could you guide me in order to have a simple cart icon with a dynamic cart count and nothing else?

Thank you for the very detailed post information. Regretfully there isn’t a standalone cart element available at the moment. We only have the cart dropdown/modal/off-canvas. This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
