Using Shortcodes In Cornerstone

Hi there - We wanted to display a list of events/conferences/workshops we are either going to attend or have attended in the past. I looked at the provided modern events plugin and it didnt quite fit what we wanted. We simply need to list these events with no need for booking, etc…

So I found this plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/very-simple-event-list/. I installed and setup the plugin. It provide shortcodes for displaying events. If I place the short code on a page outside of Cornerstone it works fine.

But if I place the shortcode in Cornerstone, it simply displays the short code. See this sample page, https://devawpny.wpengine.com/events-test/.

When I placed it in Cornerstone, I used a section, with a single cell row with the row containing the Classic code snippet.

We are using Theme X version 6.5.5 with Cornerstone 3.5.4.

Any suggestions on getting the shortcode to actually disply the events?

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,

Code element by default will display shortcode as a code. If you want it to be process please add the shortcode in CONTENT or RAW content element instead.

Hope this helps.
