Using RENEW stack in X Theme - Cornerstone settings not recognising presets

I am using all latest versions of Wordpress and X theme

None of the presets are working when creating new pages for my site. A simple thing like adding a button has become such an arduous task. I am unable to simply add a button. I have to format it. EVERY, SINGLE, TIME. It’s not just Buttons - it’s EVERYTHING

But let’s use the case of buttons (because it should be simple…

In theme options I have preset how I want my buttons to appear. BLUE static with ORANGE hover. But when I go to add a new button ANYWHERE the presets are entirely different. I am prompted to choose which stack I’m using and when I select RENEW is shows a completely different PRESET. Will this be rolled back in future? Is it a Cornerstone issue, or is it an issue with how the X theme is now integrated with Cornerstone?

I really need to just get on with my work instead of having to deal with you guys making it so much harder for me.

ETHOS is the STACK I am using - to confirm. But the result is still the same

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The Global button settings in X > Launch > Options > Buttons will only affect Classic button elements. Please understand that v2 button elements are independent elements. It will have its own default settings. You can even apply a different stack preset. If you want to use the global button settings, please use classic elements. And if you want to use v2 elements, simply create one v2 button element along with your desired settings. To avoid having to create and set the button over and over, you can simply duplicate it and change the button text if needed.

Hope this helps.
