I have a current website, hated the restrictions of the old theme with a passion, have bought Pro in the cyber sale, yipee! Now what?

I have been reading a lot of the instructions. in the Getting Support, Configured the server, loaded the (PRO) theme, added any Plugins that I thought I might need (I am sure there is more to do that later)

I have uploaded all the pages, posts and Media from the old site that I want to keep going forward. From my previous experience, I think I need to on the home page set-up the objects I want displayed in the header, and then the body. I have configured the footer for now. Then also set-up the other pages in a consistent format including a page with the blog posts and perhaps a portfolio, a simple start for the first time.

Is there in all the documentation supplied a step by step outline/checklist that I can follow to configure my site using this theme that I have missed somewhere. That skips over the more involved configuration questions. I am a bit overwhelmed. Love all the capability, but its overkill for this first site. trust me I will need it for a future project.

thanks for the link, I have already been there, it will take me 3-6 months to go through the whole site, Don’t get me wrong, the wealth of information describing the product is more than impressive, any time I need to drill down on a specific topic I can find it. what I am looking for is more like a guide book, with a specific objective in mind, to accomplish this I do not need to know a lot of information on the product this can be found in the getting started topics. So I am thinking what I am looking for is along the line of a recipe to bake a cake that is specific to the Theme I am working with. I see I am now added to the FaceBook Group, I will ask the same question there.

We don’t have 10 steps guidelines because every website will have different approach. I suggest that if you stack with any problems, just post your issues in the forum and we will be happy to assists you here.
