Using Integrity footer

Hello - I’m creating a new site-- after getting over a big learning curve with Pro on another one-- and am excited to start using the Integrity stack. I love the default footer, and not I’d like to just use that and extend it a bit with my own colors. I can’t tell if it’s possible to save that footer as a Footer/template I can edit? It looks like the Footer Editor wants me to create my own from scratch. How can I save this footer so I can edit it?

Hello Richard,

Thanks for writing in!

The default footer cannot be saved nor can be edited in the Footer builder. You do not save the footer. You will have to create your own footer instead. If you only want to tweak the footer for colors or enable/disable the elements, you can go to Pro > Theme Options > Footer. If you want to add some widgets for the Footer Widget Area, you’ll have to do it in Appearance > Widgets. Other than that, adding background color, or add new elements and other stuff that you want to have in the footer would mean that you have to replicate the default footer in the footer builder instead.

Hope this helps.
