Using Icons sidebar on Renew

Hello, I want to use Icon for the sidebar, I like that it moves separately from the content. But Ive been using Renew all along. So now when I try to switch it gives me this message:

“Because of Icon’s unique layout, this template is unavailable in this Stack. Please switch to another Stack if you need to make use of this feature. Thanks!”

So now my pages go blank. Whats the best way to fix this? Can I use renew and add the Icon side bar in functions.php ?

Nevermind, I figured it out that I just needed to use “default template”
