Using "float: left" CSS breaks Raw Content element in Cornerstone builder

If I am using the “float” property for html within a raw content element, the raw content element malfunctions as shown in the video here:

Wondering what I can do to fix this.

Please provide the exact contents of the Raw Content element so that we can investigate and test it in our local test servers as well.
