Using cornerstone elements in existing page

Hi there, quick question, say if I have a full page, made with WP Bakery, but I want to make a new header, is this possible? so for example, make a new page, new header, then copy and paste the code into the existing page? or what would be the bets way?

Thanks.

Hi @logoglo,

Thanks for reaching out.
It is not clear what exactly you are trying to do. If you want to assign the Header built using the Cornerstone to a page built with WP Bakery, that is possible. If you want to use the same template on a different page you can Duplicate the page by using any of the Duplicate plugins available in the WordPress repository, which copies the Content, Header andFooter.

If you want to use the Content of any existing page built through the Cornerstone, you can use the Save Template option to save the content as a template and Load Template into another page.
If that is not the case and you are trying to do something else, please explain it a bit more to recognize it.

Thanks

Sorry, it was late, even I cant make sense of the above haha…

So I have a page made with wpbakery, and I want to make a new section in cornerstone, for example, a header, or team section…can I then use that in the same wpbakery page? how do I go about this?

Hello @logoglo,

In case if you are using the WP Bakery page builder for the page content and you want to add more sections on the same page, you need to use the WP Bakery page builder to add a new section. In case if you are talking to create a custom Header then you can use the Pro header builder where you will need to use the cornerstone Header builder.

Please note you can not use multiple page builders inside the page content.

Thanks

I found a work around  thanks.

You are most welcome @logoglo
