Using background video and other questions

Hi team…
Im new to the themeco platform and having some difficulty getting used to it.

Running Theme X 7.1.2 with Cornerstone 4.1.x

First I want to clarify, I’m not seeing a way to directly edit the layout for each viewport within the interface. Is it possible to edit for desktop/tablet/phone within the same control panel? I’m completely missing this ability.

Second…I’m trying to set a background video for a device however the video is not playing. How do i get around this? My client wants a video to play on page load on mobile devices. I’ll also need to set the video to be horizontal instead of vertical for phone otherwise too much gets chopped off and the video is pointless. Where do I set the video to scale.

Third…i read somewhere videos wont work because of autoplay being disable on mobile devices and the workaround was to make slider rev video slider and use that. Problem is…slider rev when activated causes my page to error and disables the "edit Page " functionality.

Can anyone help me out on these three items. All the support files I see have a different looking interface than what I have. I feel like I’m missing a ton of features that are advertised with the product

Thanks for writing in!

1.) There is no layout editor for each viewport or screen size. You can only preview how the layout looks like in the specific screen size.

2.) When you set a video as background, please make sure to use *.mp4 video for cross browser compatibility. In smaller screens, the background video will display behind the section area. You do not have any controls over the video to adjust the resolution.

3.) The edit page issue when the Rev Slider is enabled can be resolved by disabling the “Include Libraries Globally” option in the Global Settings of the slider plugin.
