Using ACF Pro shortcodes in Pro footer builder

Hey there, I am trying to utilize the ACF Pro shortcode in Pro’s footer builder with no success. I’ve found other threads where you’ve said we can use

{{acf:field_name}}

in Cornerstone but I haven’t been able to find success with that in either Cornerstone or the Pro footer builder.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Thanks for writing in! Please keep in mind that ACF utilizes Custom Fields. Custom fields can only be accessible within the loop or within the content area. This is why at the moment, the ACF Pro shortcode cannot be displayed in the header or footer. We’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.
