Using ACF fields in a Modal Text block - v2

I thought my problem was solved, but it is not.

I am setting up a candidate survey. I’m using Formidable Forms that will create a post and have connected the fields to ACF fields within the new post. Then I’m pulling in from the post dynamically into a modal text block.

My problem is that if one of the ACF fields isn’t filled, it is causing none of the questions to show on some of the modals. Which is odd.

Do you have any suggestions? I’ll put the secure note with login info and the specific page to view as well.

Hey @petitshoo,

Please see the secure note.

Hey @petitshoo,

Thank you for providing the exact URL. Please provide the URL even if it’s a draft page next time so we don’t have to look for the content. That saves us time which is good for all our customers including you.

I’ve checked the Tester Testing modal and everything’s in there meaning all filled up ACF Fields are displayed.

Can you clarify what the problem is? And, please provide screenshots of the missing fields. Label your fields inside the modal to save us time examining what’s missing.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

I’m not sure what you are asking to see. If you look at the first modal on the page (the one with my name Jennifer Pack) you will see what should be showing up on the second modal on the page. The first modal is the one set up to be the looper consumer and all the fields have been filled in or checked. The second one is generated to be the same, but because not all the answers are filled in it looks like the labels aren’t showing. And there-in lies the problem.

Does that make sense?

My goal is for when the candidates fill out the survey then the page will automatically be populated. However, all the candidates may not fill out the survey completely and answer all the questions but I still need for the labels to show and for their not to be gaps in the text box of the modal.

Attached is a screenshot of the first modal (the looper consumer) and how it is showing up correctly.

Thanks,
Jen

Hey Jen,

Thank you for clarifying that it’s the labels you want to be displayed. In my previous response, I’m referring to creating your labels manually. That means, you need to remove the ACF Label Dynamic Content in your Modal.

I’ve replicated the issue on my end so this look like a bug. Just not sure if it’s with ACF or on Pro side. I’ve listed this case in our issue tracker so it’s now queued to be investigated by our development team.

For now, so you can move forward, follow my suggestion above on manually adding the labels.

Thank you for understanding.
