Hello Themeco Crew,

I was wondering what my options are for allowing users to submit blog posts to my website. If anyone has any sort of advice regarding this, it would be very helpful. I will be using buddypress as well.

Hey @wanderlust,

You will need a plugin that allows front-end posting like Gravity Forms. It would be best though that you seek help from a consultant so you’ll get a detailed recommendation for your project moreover that this is not a feature offered in X.

How much would talking to a consultant cost and where would i do that?

And I was looking into the plugin called User Submitted Post Pro, what would i have to do if this conflicts with my site? How can i test to see if a plugin would conflict with my site?

Thanks for updating the thread.

It’s bit difficult for us to envisage the cost a developer or consultant would charge as it totally depend on the nature of the project and developer. You can use websites like Upwork to hire developers.

I suggest you to setup a staging server and test compatibility of User Submitted Post Pro plugin.

That is something that I would like. Whats the best server option for that?

Also, I’ve been searching around and couldn’t find anything. What is the download link to the most recent version of BuddyPress? ( 2.8.2 I believe ) Thanks!

For BuddyPress, you can simply go to X > Overview menu and scroll down to see the icon of the BuddyPress plugin and download the compatible version with our theme:

Regarding the plugins server requirements you need to contact the plugin developer themselves and ask for the detailed information. We do not have enough knowledge about 3rd party plugins requirements.
