We have a Problem with the Pro Editor in other Wordpress User roles than Administrator.
When I choose, for example the Role Editor for example the editor looks wired and don’t work out correctly (see below)

Cann I do something the sole the issue?

Thankk you for helping me out

Hi @ArtOfSpring,

Thanks for reaching out.
Sometimes the only screenshot doesn’t help us to recognize the issue you are having. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– WordPress Editor username/password to check the editor’s view

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Note: The Content Builder, requires the administrative role access. If you are using any 3rd party plugin, I would suggest you contact the plugin author on this, as we don’t offer any support or investigation on 3rd party plugins or related issues.

Thanks

Hey there,

ok, see secure note above.

Thx for help

Hi @ArtOfSpring,

I just logged in with the other User Role account but I can’t replicate the issue you are facing. This could be a browser cache problem, I suggest that you clear your browser cache.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hey Marc,

you exactly see the issue in your screenshot.
Try to click on the burger Menu in the top left corner and you will see that it’s not working normal.
Also, I always choose the dark mode and two days before it worked out fine. So, I gues something is going wrong right?

Hey @ArtOfSpring,

I tested the Editor role locally and i could not replicate the issue on my end. seems like your setup specific issue, try re-installing the Pro theme first and see if this resolves the issue.

If the issue persists then please check for the following:

  1. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  2. THEME UPDATE
  3. CHILD THEME
  4. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  5. DISABLING CACHE

Let us know how this goes!

Hello there,

I’ve tried every point and the problem still remains.
The visuell Editor still looks like that:

In the Admin Account everything works fine and looks good:

Realy confusing but I can not give an admin account to the person how will edit the pages soon…
Is there any other idea from your side to try out next?

Thx for helping

Hi @ArtOfSpring,

Unfortunately, the issue can’t be replicated even I clicked into the burger menu at the top left corner, it works as normal.

Can you please provide any screen capturing video that helps us to understand the steps and recognize the problem?

Thanks

Hello @tristup,

thx for writing in and trying to help us out with this issue.
See the Following video wich shows that it’s not realy possible to work with the interface on our side.

I hope this gives you a better understanding of the problem.

Happy to hear from you

Hello @ArtOfSpring,

Thanks for sharing the video, I followed your video steps. It seems that it is working fine on my end. I am using the Google Chrome browser of version 89.0.4389.82. It might be the issue of browser cache or any browser extension issue. Please find the screen recording video in the secure note.

Thanks

Hi @prakash_s,

sorry, by the time you made this recording the user role was switched to admin.
I created another user with a different user role (credentials in secure note) and the issue still persists on every browser I try (cache emptied).

It seems like the UI Theme is initially turned off.
If I navigate to “Preferences” the UI Theme settings are different (find screenshot attached).
Once I click on the back arrow everything changes to normal.
But it won’t keep the settings once I want to edit another page.

Hello @ArtOfSpring,

I suspect that this is a bug in the latest release of the theme. I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it.

Please bear with us.
