User Agent Stylesheet

I have a first taking place on a client site. The homepage “only” has italic text from the sub menu dropdown to the text in the footer. There is no directive from our css that would format the text like this. It resides on no other pages and references user agent stylesheet. Please advise. Thank you.

Hey @kstidham,

We first need to check if this issue is really coming from our theme and not 3rd party factors such as website optimization. I see your site is currently optimized. HTML and resources like CSS are minified. Please disable your optimization first, clear all caches and check if the issue persists.

Please also do the following:

  1. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  2. Theme Update
  3. Child Theme
  4. Css/Js Customization

Only if none of that help, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

I have determined that it is Revolution Slider. The issue is resolved when Rev Slider is deactivated. I will follow up with login url and credentials

I solved the issue but need it to work the way I want it to. There is a global layer in the slider on our homepage. It has a line of text “Dedicated to the Practice of Family Law” that was italicized. Somehow, that formatting caused the drop down menu, page text and footer text to be italicized. I would like a workaround since the client’s marketing folks dictated the styling. Thank you.

Hey @kstidham,

Thanks for testing. It looks like a bug but I’ll test this some more.

For now, you need to use a font other than Raleway which is used in the Theme Options for the Content Text.

Hope that helps.
