Use Single Page Layout for Regular Page Template

I have a single page layout and I’m trying to save it as a template to use for a regular page so I can simply import it. But it will only save as a Single Page Template and is not available for a regular page. Anyway to convert a single page layout to a useable template for other pages?

Regretfully, there isn’t an option to convert a single layout template into a page template. I’d suggest saving the section as a template instead. You can then import that section into your pages. To do this, go to the Single Layout, select ‘Make Section Template,’ click ‘Save Template,’ enter a name for the section template, and save it.

To import it, you need to go to the page->Template->library->sections->select the saved template

On another note is there anyway to convert a standard WP Page into Cornerstone and keep some of the Elements?

Hello @Emperor,

Pages edited/created outside of the Cornerstone Builder cannot be edited with the builder. We also DO NOT have a feature that converts an existing page to a Cornerstone page. With the help of the prefab, "The Content " element allows you to display an existing WP page inside the Cornerstone builder. This usually works with the Custom Single layout.
