Use Looper API to display SharePoint data on website

Hi there,

I’m aware that this topic is surely out of scope in terms of support but maybe you can give me a general feedback. I’m working for a music promoter and we use SharePoint as a database for our artists and shows. I now want to create a new website since the current one is quite outdated. Since I use Pro for many other projects I’d like to give it a go here as well.

I saw that the Looper functionality was again updated with the new release. Is there theoretically a way to use this tool to display content based on a SharePoint database or isn’t it compatible directly?

A short feedback before I dig in deeper would be highly appreciated.

Best,
Christian

Hi Christian,

Thanks for reaching out. If your SharePoint exposes an API to access data then you can use the External API feature (see https://theme.co/docs/external-api-integration)

Here’s a video tutorial that you can follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ra2UoMi7ZI

Hope this helps!
