Use common taxonomies (categories) between Posts and Portfolio

Hello!,
I would like to know if it’s possible to use common taxonomies between portfolio items and regular posts (or how to do it). I see the portfolio has its own taxonomies but we want to use common categories between both of them.

Hello Luis,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully the portfolio item that is built in the theme has its own separate taxonomy. You cannot use common taxonomy between the post and the portfolio items. We do not recommend modifying those taxonomies as it may create conflict and incompatibility issues sooner or later.
