URL Link in Google Map Marker Text

Hi there.

I recently updated Cornerstone and have reinstated a google map in the website. Previously I was using HREF code to implement a hyperlink within the ‘text’ of the map marker. For example, the following was added to the ‘text’ box in Cornerstone:

Mr Henderson Bar

Since the update however, the links are no longer working.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi @BurntMatch,

Thanks for writing in.

Have you enabled the API key from Google API Console for the current project?

This usually happens when API key is not enabled.

Please follow steps mentioned here https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key#standard-auth

Hope this helps!

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi Nico.

Thanks very much for your response. I have followed the correct directions of implementing the API, even deleted and started fresh, but I am still having the same problem.

Hi there,

I went ahead and fixed it

I removed the double quotes for proper parsing. But single quote may work too.

Thanks!

Hi Rad.

Thanks for doing that.

And I’m not sure what’s happened, but I went to log in to Pirate’s Plate in Wordpress and now I’m receiving this message, even when I just try to access the website:

This site can’t be reached

www.piratesplate.com.au took too long to respond.
Search Google for pirates plate au

Hi there,

I’m able to access your site on my end, maybe it’s your internet connectivity.

Please try again.

Thanks!
