Url being rewritten even after removing Modern Events Calendar

I installed MEC to try it out. Uninstalled it and now any url that includes “domain/events/whatever” gets rewritten with the “/events” removed.

How do I fix this?

Thank you for writing in, please navigate to Settings > Permalinks, select Post name and save.
