Urgent new simple header change messed up entire heard

Dear,

I added a button and got a save error after that the header looks messed up on the site and I can’t restore it. It looks perfectly fine on the edit screen but messed up on the actual site.
I click save it says uhoh can’t save, I tried to restore the old version of the header via template and also this one looks messed up.

URGENT INVESETIGATION REQUIRED

This “uh-oh” can’t save is completely at random and gives very little confidence in the stability of your theme.

Now my SSL has been changed to not secure, this is bad. And I still can’t save. Is this normal? This wasn’t an issue before the update.

A header is active with display “entire site” and none of the changes can’t be saved. So I can’t even change to a new header. UH OH CAN"T SAVE message each time. Kindly respond ASAP!

I had to create a copy of the header and then change the display priorities of the other one. It still showed the “UHOH” message every single time, but eventually the changes took place, even though I still get the can’t save error message every time. This enable me at least to resolve the SSL message, but it’s still a bug that I can’t have normal saving and correct confirmation messages!

Hey @yvescleeren,

Just letting you know, bumping or replying to your thread bumps it down the queue as we answer threads from oldest to newest. Please refrain from adding on to your replies if you can.

Regarding your header, it’s the [xoo_wsc_cart] shortcode causing it not to save. Try inserting that shortcode in a Global Block and insert the Global Block shortcode in the header instead of inserting the cart shortcode directly. If you’re not yet familiar with global blocks, please learn the usage here https://theme.co/docs/global-blocks

When reporting an issue to us, please first do the basic troubleshooting listed here https://theme.co/docs/common-issues. That is because if we’re going to be the one to test for plugin conflicts, not only will it take time for us to know what plugin is conflicting with the theme, some plugin settings might reset or we might miss activating back an important plugin. This will also will not be good for you and the rest of our customers because this will mean that you will wait longer because we’ll be troubleshooting hundreds of sites when usually, the culprit is a 3rd party plugin or custom code that is not well made.

By the way, I updated Pro too and your header didn’t break.

Thanks.
