Urgent International Shipping Not Charging

Hi, this is for Woocommerce that’s bundled. They won’t help me since it came with X theme.

I have a flat rate for international shipping that’s randomly not charged for some shipments. In just the past few months I have lost over $240 in shipping costs. It’s not because the country is not defined, as you can see from this CSV: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gqw4EkLyorArn0tRkA2zv_wmwFqoMiS6b1Zi4rBpdf4/edit?usp=sharing
some orders to BC are charged shipping, some are not. What is going on here?

Please advise. Thanks!

Hello @rotipom,

Please note that Woocommerce is not part of the bundled plugins with X but is one of the approved/supported plugins. We provide support for the bundled plugins but not the approved plugins but we check for the compatibility of the approved plugins with X.

X currently supports Woocommerce 4.0 which you can find here: https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility

As for the shipping issue that you have, it is most probably related to the setup of your shipping zone:

I can’t provide a lot of details for this since this is specific to your Woocommerce setup but this might be something you can look into.

Hope this helps you get started.

Hi Jade, unfortunately this does not help me. The shipping zones is set up correctly like I said, parcels to the same country are randomly billed or NOT billed.

Who do I go to for Woocommerce support since they claim that x is supposed to help me?

Hi @rotipom,

Sorry that you’re having that issue, yes we do help by investigating what could be possibly causing the issue, and if it causes by a 3rd party plugin then that is something that we can’t go further with, please provide us the site URL and login credentials in a secure note so we can take a look.

In the meantime, please do the common troubleshooting guide provided here, skip the things that you already done, but please make sure you clear and deactivate your caching and CND features for awhile, since site inconsistency issues are most likely related to caching.

This is the only time I see this issue so besides caching it’s more likely it’s your shipping-zones configuration or site setup. A plugin conflict is still a major possibility. And please make sure your WooCommerce is still in version 4.0 because that is the latest supported version.

It would be best if you have a Staging Site so we can do the troubleshooting without affecting your live site, you can also use this staging site to test plugins.

And by the way since we are not familiar on the process on your site, please provide us step by step guide on how we can replicate the issue (e.g. what product should we add to cart and what country, what shipping method should we choose on checkout)

Thanks,
