Upon trying to delete X theme I get "Deletion failed: Could not fully remove the theme x."

Hello,
I’m using Pro theme and Pro child and I tried to delete the X theme and X child from themes as I don’t need them any more and on both I got the same message:

Deletion failed: Could not fully remove the theme x.

I tried to delete from wp admin panel.

Why is this happening? Is it safe to remove the theme via FTP?
Some of my pages have been done in Cornerstone and I didn’t have time to switch them from “classic” elements to the new ones. Could this be the reason?

Hello Gaby,

You should have no issues deleting X through FTP as long as you have disable Cornerstone first in the admin area and have Pro or the Pro child theme active.

Cornerstone comes native to Pro as the Pro builder so all the pages you built using Cornerstone should remain as is.

Hope this explains it.
