Upload New Media Error

Hi there,

I can’t upload any media it give me this error.
Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2018/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

and when I remove the check box from the “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”
it give me this error

“The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads.”

please help.

That issue is related to either your server or WordPress setup. It’s more likely due to permissions. Please see http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/.

Regretfully, since this is not theme related, you will need to contact your host for this or hire a third party developer to fix the issue.
