Upgrading Pro Version: 1.2.7 after WP 6.2 Issue

Good afternoon,

I have fixed about 30 sites over the last 12 hours with your upgrading advise - thank you!

However I have one site which still has Pro Version: 1.2.7. What file code should I change and where is the location of the file?

Just in case I made a stage version of the site and upgraded to the latest version but it crashed the site

Thanks for reaching out.
Updating the theme in the staging server is the correct process while updating from a much older version. As the version you are updating is much older, and most of the shortcodes are already deprecated, you need to create the pages from scratch.

Good afternoon and thank you very much for the update,

The issue is that when I update to the latest version on stage it just crashes the site so I cannot see what pages would need updating.

Is there any manual code I can add to Pro Version: 1.2.7. to get the site back up and running??

Hi Jason,

In that case, I would suggest you remove the Pro folder from the wp-content/themes through the FTP and re-upload the latest version of Pro by downloading from your Themeco Account.

I have tried this but this also breaks the site.

I have tried to look for the ‘wp_enqueue_script( ‘mediaelement’ );’ script to comment out but cannot find it.

version 1.2.7 does not have the location framework/functions/plugins/cornerstone.php

Where I can find the correct location?

Hi Jason,

The version you are using a much older and we don’t have any idea where the code can be added. Still, I will check with our developer if they can suggest something on this. But, it is suggested that you update the theme to avoid future issues.

In Pro 1.2.7 the file is framework/functions/global/plugins/cornerstone.php.

You are commenting out the very same lines as the Pro3-4 guide. Lines 36 and 75.
