Upgrade to X 5.0 Jumbled Site's Layout

Hi all,

When I upgraded to X 5.0 on my site (http://www.opicpractice.com/), the layout became jumbled and the title of the site is appearing twice. I tried disabling all plugins and resetting the CloudFlare cache, but to no avail. I don’t use a child theme on this site and had installed one of the “expanded demos” on a clean install, so I’m surprised that the upgrade caused issues. All of the software on the site (including X) is up-to-date.

I’ve held off on upgrading my other sites to X 5.0 because they all have similar set ups and are hosted on the same server.

Any insight about what might be causing this would be most appreciated!

Please try to disable the auto-minify scripts, HTML, CSS in your CloudFlare account.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I just disabled those options in CloudFlare and also put it in “Development Mode” for good measure, but unfortunately it’s still the same.

Hi there,

Just want to add that it also happened out us when we updated form Theme X 4.6.4 to 5.0. Didn’t know how to fix it (layout jumbled). In the mean time all the cache was turned off + cloudflare. Downgraded to 4.6.4 again, which made the site looked normal again, then updated to Theme X 5.1. It seems to be ok now. Just have to turn on Cloudflare (change the nameservers of our account).

Hi,

I updated another site, same issue. How I solved it this time:

  1. updated theme + child theme with FTP

  2. site jumbled like this (left is orginal, right is jumbled)

  3. flushed cache on hosting and cloud flare --> still not luck

  4. flushed local computer browser cache --> back to normal.
