Upgrade to Pro for free licenses swap

I have about 23 licenses for X theme and some of them are giving me the option to upgrade to Pro for free. But a site that I have a license on for X that I’d like to try Pro on, is not giving me that option. So I was just going to trade purchase codes for a site that I am not using now, but is offering the upgrade to Pro for free. Before I just swap purchase codes and upgrade to Pro, would that work? Or what is the best way for me to do that? I have not tried Pro yet, and would like to on this one site I am going to build out now.

Thanks for being a long time customer! Our system allows a free Pro upgrade on X licenses purchased prior to the Pro launch, so it sounds like you’ve been building with X for years now.

Yes, swapping code like that is the best option. The easiest way would be:

  • In your Themeco dashboard save the site URL of both licenses as empty
  • Login to both WordPress dashboards and click the small “revoke validation” link.
  • Now when you enter the codes again the site URL will automatically populate
