Upgrade issue with X theme

Hello Team,
We tried to upgrade the X-theme to the latest version(9.1.4). But the website is not working now.

After Upgrading cornerstone we got this error.

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems the PHP version might be the reason behind your issue. I would suggest you check the PHP version and upgrade it to 7.4 by contacting your Hosting Service provider and check if that issue resolves or not. I would also suggest you check and update the X to its latest version i.e. 9.1.4 and install the Cornerstone by following the below steps.

1. Delete the Cornerstone
2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

Please clear all type cache including the Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser.
If that does not resolve your issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– FTP/CPanel credentials to access the files.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

We have upgraded to PHP 7.3. Is it compatible here or we need to upgrade to PHP 7.4 ?

Now we are getting these errors after deleting cornerstone. We are not able to login to wordpress dashboard.

The issue is in the core files. I suggest that you reinstall or manually replace the WordPress core files. Please check this article.

We restored the old version of site now. Please suggest the steps we have to follow before update. Please see the versions in the screenshot.

1. Upgrade your PHP Version to 7.4
2. Update the X theme by following the below steps.

2.1. Delete the Cornerstone
2.2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
2.3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be in the latest version
