Upgrade breaks the site

When we upgrade to the latest version of X Theme (automatic updates) all of the text gets hidden.

We use visual composer to build out most of our pages, the images show up fine but the text blocks disappear.

Please advise.

First, please share us your URL so we could check your setup.

second, check your version of Visual Composer if it has the supported version. If not, please remove plugin then reinstall it again via add ons.

Visual Composer: | Latest Supported Version: 5.0.1

And lastly, please check for plugin conflict.You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I’ve currently downgraded the site to the previous version (saresearch.com) because the site needs to be up and running today. I did uninstall and re-install visual composer and downloaded the most recent version of x-child.

Please clone your site using All In One Migration to a staging environment so we can perform some tests without affecting the live site,

Once you do that, please provide the login credentials of the staging site,
