Updating X theme break the site, all pages showing up with pictures and text randomly, menu are also broken

Hi there,

We are using a working version of X (4.6.4). If we update to 5.2.5, the whole site is broken, pages and menu are not working.

All our plugin are up to date including Cornerstone and wordpress.

Hi There,

That sounds like stysheet is broken. It happens when you do have a CDN or a plugin the minimize CSS and JS. Those files are already minimize by the theme and minimizing it again results to a breakage on the file and missing design. Please try to set auto minify to OFF.

If this is not the case for you, please share site URL with the issue so we can check further.

Thank you for your answer. I did deactivate all minify and cache plugin but it happens the same

The photo shows what is happening. I am now reversing to the old them to make it work again.

In that case, it is recommended to setup as staging site and then do the update there. Send us then staging site URL and credentials on a secure note. This will give us an opportunity to investigate the issue without affecting the live site. Also, in case you have caching, did you clear cache before deactivating caching plugin? Cache content will still load so it it’s important that cache is cleared. Thank you.
