Updating Visual Composer

Hello,

I’ve just updated WordPress to version 5.6. I’ve also updated the X theme to 8.0.10 by going to Appearance > Themes > X and clicking update. This all seems to have worked perfectly.

However, the WPBakery Page Builder updated to 6.4.2 but won’t update further. I downloaded all of the theme files and documentation for X from Theme Forest and I can see there that there are zip files in an extension folder. I thought these might contain the latest versions of the plugins included with X but I can’t find WPBakery Page Builder in this list of files.

Please can you offer advice on how to update WPBakery Page Builder? It is currently not working with an additional plugin I am using and I need to update it.

Thanks for writing in! Be advised that the latest supported and available version of the bundled WPBakery Page Builder is up to 6.4.2. You can check it out here:

Our developers are still doing incompatibility and conflict testing with the latest plugin release. The WPBakery Page Builder 6.5 version will be available anytime soon.
