Updating to version 8.3.3 is breaking the site

Its Sharavan,

I recently updated X Theme to version 8.3.3 from 5.2.5. I could see the update is breaking the site like https://prnt.sc/1jx6srd (Should display as: https://prnt.sc/1jx77ft) and https://prnt.sc/112z88o (Should display as: https://prnt.sc/1jx7q3c) . The mobile menu is opened by default and the hamburger logo is not visible which was working with version 5.2.5. But in version 5.2.5 it was causing a conflict with Contact Form 7 5.2 version and above https://prnt.sc/1jd145x (Should display as: https://prnt.sc/1jx9pmp), a banner is occurring .

Do you have any thoughts on this?

I am using WordPress 5.8 version.

Thanks for reaching out!

I suspect that the X theme is corrupted. Please follow the instruction below on how you can fix it.

  • Delete the Cornerstone plugin to avoid any conflict

  • Go to the theme page and activate another theme in order for you to delete the current X theme installed on your website.

  • After activating another theme example(twentyone theme) then delete the X theme

  • Then go to your themeco account page and you can download the latest version of the X theme
    image

  • After downloading the latest version of X theme then upload it to your website and activate it

  • Lastly install the cornerstone plugin that is compatible with your latest version of X theme
