Updating Theme to latest version

Hi I have a site running on Theme Version 2.5.0 which I would like to update to the latest version to use the new slider element. But it’s not giving me the option to update in the back office of Word Press, please advice.

Please note the active theme is the child theme 1.0.0

Thanks for reaching out!

You can download the latest version of Pro theme in your themeco dashboard then upload it to your website. In that way, you manually updated the theme to the latest version.

Since, you didn’t update your current Pro theme for ages, I highly recommend to test the update in your staging area. Here’s how you can create a staging area.

No, You don’t have to do anything on the child theme you just need to update the parent theme. Please make sure you have purged all the cache and server cache so that the latest code renders properly.
