Updating template, affecting all pages?

I’ve applied a custom template to multiple pages. How can I make a change in just the template so that all the pages that I’ve applied the template to will automatically show that change?

Please do give us context of the change you are trying to do. Based on the information you have given, you need to edit the actual template php file so the changes will reflect on all pages using this template. Is there any reason why this is not an option?

I created a template which I now see listed in the Template Manager. In the Template Manager, however, I don’t see an option to open the template and make changes.

Thanks for updating in! You must have mistakenly thought of the templates the Template Manager like the page template. It is very different from that of the page template. You use the template in creating a page or post. You cannot edit the template and hope that it will also change in those pages that uses the templates.

I would highly recommend that you use Global Blocks instead. You can create a global block in X/Pro > Global Blocks. Apply or insert this global block in to your pages. Once you need to edit the block, simply go back to X/Pro > Global Blocks, edit the block and all of your changes will display in all of the pages that uses the global block.
