Updating from from version 1.3 to 5.3. Is it possible while keeping the content?

Hi, due to circumstances beyond our control we have to update to Cornerstone 5.3 from version 1.3.

Is there a procedure that will allow us to safeguard the existing content?

Hi Clement,

Unfortunately, there is no such option for that. You need to create the pages and content from scratch.

Many thanks for the swift reply. We will have to bite the bullet, in the meantime, are there any security issues running Cornerstone 1.3 with x Theme 4.6.4?

Hi Clement,

Not really, but it suggested using the latest version of the theme and plugin to avoid any issues. I would suggest you please copy your live site to a staging server and try to update the theme, then migrate it to the live server if it works for you.
