Updating failed. Invalid JSON body passed

Hi,

I just started receiving this message: Updating failed. Invalid JSON body passed. I had been editing and updating for weeks without a problem until this morning. I noticed several threads on Google indicating that a work-around would be to install the plugin “Classic Editor”. I did that and so far it seems to have worked. The page was updated. However, I’m not clear why yet another plugin is necessary and that I now have to work with the classic editor just as I was getting used to Pro.

Is there a fix in the horizon?

Hey Orlando,

There could be a 3rd party plugin or factor that is causing the issue. We first need you to confirm that the issue is only coming from the latest version of the theme itself. Please do the following and you can report back to us if the issue still persists.

  1. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  2. Theme Update
  3. Child Theme
  4. Css/Js Customization

Only if none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password
