Since X/Pro/Cornerstone 10.2.9, I have not seen any update notices on any of my Wordpress sites that use them. I have clicked “check again” several times, but they still don’t show up. Please fix this as I can’t upgrade without the notices. Thanks.
Hi @zaissco,
Thanks for reaching out.
There might be some different reasons behind your problem, and I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us recognize the reason.
1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue ** if you have activated.
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
I tried changing to a default theme and disabling all plugins. I still don’t get an update notice. Which isn’t surprising. I noticed that on one site we manage which has X theme and Cornerstone installed but not activated, I never get update notices there. We don’t use a CDN and only use a caching plugin on a few sites. Since the problem occurs on over a dozen sites, and we haven’t made any coding changes on most of the sites, I have to believe the issue isn’t the result of something we did.
We are currently still doing manual updates for 6.3. We plan on doing automatic, which will show the update button in your dashboard, this or next week. Apologies for the confusion, but you can download 6.3 in you account dashboard for now. Have a great day!
