Updated Pro to 5.0.8 from 4.3.3 - Can't Access Headers, Footers, or Content

I just updated a client’s site to Pro version 5.0.8. All of a sudden, when I try to edit a page or make changes to the header or footer, it just shows a grey screen with a white pinwheel. It never loads. In looking around th eforum, there were suggestions to clear cache, deactivate plugins, and re-install Pro; all of which I did. The problem still isn’t fixed.

I noticed that there’s a Cornerstone link in the sidebar now that wasn’t ever there before. Is that normal?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked and found that the 3rd party plugin SG Optimizer is the cause behind your issue. I went ahead and deactivated the said plugin temporarily and found that Page Builder is loading perfectly. I would also suggest you deactivate it temporarily and check if the issue still exists or not. If that issue not exists I would suggest you report the plugin author on this, if you need to use the said plugin.

Please note that, in the last major release, we have separated the Pro and the Cornerstone, which was previously integrated within the theme. Now you can find the Validation and other Bundled plugin settings under the Pro menu and builder-related options under the Cornerstone menu.
