Updated PHP and X Theme.. Now my site is jacked

I updated my website’s PHP to 7.1 and also updated my X theme to the most current version. I must confess that I haven’t updated in a while and created my site from the backend… Now my formatting and such is all jacked up. I believe I need some help to get it fixed…

It also seems that the formatting isn’t messed up when viewing on a mobile device.

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for writing in, please navigate to Appearance > Themes and activate the new X – Child Theme, not the X - Child Theme: Integrity Dark that one is phase out.

After that, navigate to WPBakery Page Builder > General Settings and enable the Legacy X Integration. A common request we get is to not overwrite parts of the WPBakery Page Builder. We are committed to keeping supporting sites from the early days of X where Visual Composer was our page builder but we’ve consolidated all that integration code under one setting. It used to be enabled by default, but you will now need to opt-in to use it.

Lastly, clear your caching plugins and your browser’s cache.
