Updated needed for extension

Hello, How can I use the updated version of an extension when you haven’t enabled it yet? I am using modern events calendar 6.8.10 and there is a bug in displaying events in category pages that is solved in the next version 6.8.15. The problem is that the events are not shown at all in the categories and I need the updated version.

The Modern Events Calendar is a bundled plugin which updated with the *Theme Updates. I would request you stay tuned for the upcoming release, where the update of this plugin may include.
