I updated Cornerstone earlier today and now my buttons are broken and my background images are not showing. The settings are still in place when I look in Cornerstone, but the button was showing a blank display and the background is blank. I have removed the buttons and added links for now as I am running an ad campaign and cannot afford to have black buttons anywhere.

I wanted to provide a good example of what is happening. The button itself is displaying, but the text is not. You can see in the screenshot that there is text in the button setup, but it is not displaying on the button. I am not seeing the same issue with the classic button.
The issue has been resolved. I had only updated Cornerstone, but not X. Once X was updated I am no longer seeing the issue.

You will have to update both X and Cornerstone as it will cause an incompatibility issue if only one of them is updated just like the issues you previously mentioned.
