Update to Pro 4 - cannot see anything when trying to edit Content, Footer, Header

Hi, I have just updated to Pro 4 and cleared cache - Can see the list of every page when going into Headers, Content and Footers, but when clicking the page to edit, everything is blank. Tried logging out and logging into the wordpress account, Wordpress and plugins are the latest versions. The theme is validated and child theme is being used.

In Chrome, you cannot see anything at all in every page. Switching to Edge and logging in, the following happens.
Sometimes you click a header, content or footer and it may or may not load… but loading the HEADER area brings up the PAGE CONTENT VIEW and you cannot edit the header at all. Trying to edit CONTENT and the page has very large areas of dark grey/black and cannot see anything.

Please help because it worked one hour ago!

Tried activating Pro Theme, then went back to activating child them also, this also doesn’t work. Re-checked activation code and this is fine.

Hi,

I have been through the plugins one by one and the issue appears to be one plugin:

iThemes Security. Version 7.9.0 (latest version)

Are you aware of any workaround or fix for this, or specific settings which may enable both plugin and editor to work. Naturally I could deactivate iThemes Security whilst editing and re-enable again, but unsure if this is a longer-term solution. Thanks

Update again: Uninstalled IThemes Security and reinstalled with the exact same settings - Pro now works with iThemes and other plugins. The wonders of WordPress!

Another Site not working - this time with the plug WP Armour - Honeypot Anti Spam causing the issue. This plugin works well with the original site but won’t work with the new site. Again, issues with iThemes Security.

Please do you have a list of known plugin conflicts as it is causing a headache and taking a long time to update as having to go through every plugin individually and reinstall plugins - now confirmed not working with WP Armour - Honeypot Anti Spam

Hey @stuartmurphy,

Regretfully, we don’t have a list of conflicting plugins due to the fact that it would not be feasible to monitor thousands of plugins available in the WordPress repository and there are also external factors that contribute to conflicts like server configuration.

I checked to see if the WP Armour - Honeypot Anti Spam plugin conflicts with Pro and I’ve replicated the issue you described. Please just note though that we do not provide support for 3rd party conflicts. Our developers might be interested to know where the conflict might be though but we could not guarantee as to when they will be checking the issue. I’ll post this in our tracker but again, remember that we could not guarantee a fix for this.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi everyone,

We’ve pushed an update today that has been confirmed to restore the builder preview for a handful of different plugins. The issue is usually a plugin interrupts the page builder’s first preview render, but we’ve worked out a way for this to be avoided.
