Update to latest version of pro but cannot edit page

I have disabled plugins, added a line in wp-config for memory based on info on the issue but problem is still not solved. Cannot edit any page.

Hello @shorabc

Thanks for writing to us

I checked your website Dashboard I have fixed your issue. Now you can edit your page easily. I have tested it on your server and it is working fine. I have created a Test page at your website and It working fine.

It was a cache and JS/CSS minification issue. You have installed the WP Fastest Cache plugin and this plugin cache and JS/CSS minification were not allowing you to render your changes on the frontend.

Please make sure whenever you deactivate the Cache plugin You should always clear all the cache.
I just activated the plugin and purge all the cache and then deactivated again.

You must perform the plugin conflict troubleshooting steps before posting a new thread.

Please note that we do not provide third-party plugin support It is out of the support scope.

Thanks

Hi @PrakashS
I can edit the test page you have created and also other pages except the home page and the header. How can I fix that. Please note that I have disabled all plugins.

Thanks you.

Hello @shorabc,

Even if only the Simple SSL plugin is active, your server is still serving the old cached version of the site. Do you have any caching mechanism in your hosting account that may have caused this? Please ask further assistance from your hosting provider as you may have Page Varnish or some sort of caching feature in the server.

And if you are using CloudFlare, you may need to purge your site cache too.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Just as a hint to other pro users I am posting this.

After trying to troubleshoot by disabling all plugin the issue was not solved. My web developer who a Pro theme expert, after checking my wp site said the following:

“…I checked your site and I see a Javascript error. and that errors seem to be related to a “Pagespeed” feature? Did you do a site optimization before this issue happen? I don’t see any active plugin on your site that has something to do with Pagespeed? so maybe this is an internal/server-side issue.”

So I login on my host server disabled CDN caching it still did not work. So I also disabled JavaScript Optimisation under the web optimation (under plesk control panel) and my problem was fixed.

Hey @shorabc,

It’s good to know that your issue has been resolved already. We also thank you for sharing this information.

Best Regards.
